Police Scanner + Fire Radio 앱 리뷰

I’ve had this app for a couple years and it has never let me down.

I love listening to this! Thanks for the free option.

The police scanners no longer work. Voices are now scrambled.

Gotta turn the volume all the way up and still can barely hear what’s going on, even with ear buds…

Was a great app that used to have a one time fee. Then they changed there icon and added a plus sign and started ripping people off my charging weekly monthly and yearly charges that were never shown in the first app

It’s hard to decipher conversations, the live vocal isn’t clear. I still respect these guys though. Tough job these days.

The app works great far as I can tell,sometimes it cuts off if I leave it going for awhile but other than that I really like it. I have the free version also not the subscription.

This scanner is a great tool’ it gets radio stations from all over. You can’t beat this app it’s free

A solid App that has passed the test of time. This may have been my first radio app and I still use it. Very user friendly. Just search for radio stations , or genres, etc, and you will get many to choose from then add it to saved and then you get a site full of your choices. That’s the Pros. The Cons are minor, but I will one point out. Many police dispatchs use a “trunked” type signal. (I think that’s the term, but I may be wrong) . That means many towns you are not gonna get police calls to your phone. You may still get Fire, Rescue, and a few other emergency calls. It’s not the apps fault, as they didn’t make the change, so I still rate it high

Very easy to use and very clear

I see questions others have that I have also but I never see answers. The app is great when it works and is online. Not sure why it goes offline for days on end. I haven’t been impressed enough to purchase anything extra and if that’s by design, it’s not working for me, especially with the review by someone who did purchase the pro and still has issues! Major app improvement needed.

I use to have a hand held scanner but the police frequencies changed

No local stations

When the power companies website crashed it kept the community informed of what was going on and where to best shelter.

I love this police scanner and i listen to it everyday. it’s good to have around. The problem i have it is it went off line and it came back on and it did not have a volume. I would like for the support or the developer to look at and see if they can fix the volume. It only has the word police or fire and no sound with it . I hope you would fix it so that i can have something to listen to . It’s a good police scanner.

To be fair this review is based only on how the app works in my area. This used to be a really good app but something has changed and for this to be a police scanner app I get very few police interactions. Its mostly EMS and Fire and while I’m not talking down to those guys, I have the app because it’s called a police scanner! If you live in or around Anderson SC buy a real scanner otherwise you won’t hear much of the police at all. Same for the other police scanner apps as well.

It doesn’t even get my county what it does have they don’t even work. SMH

I have two police scanner apps. In all honesty, I generally always use the other one I have. But I wanted to check this one out today because I hadn’t seen much action on my other app. The only thing that I say would make it better, would be if you had access to state police scanners

The channels that work are great, but unfortunately the ones I want to listen to are usually down.

Good app

An app that connects to the local police, fire and EMS a few times per month is worth nothing. We turn it on when the fire siren goes off and just occasionally we’ll hear a few words. Most of time it’s just silent. I’ve never had an app that performs worse.

Easy to use, clean and simple. It also has some nice options available for backgrounds and more. Unless they take it away and try to charge me, I definitely recommend it.

The police scanner is scrambled you cannot hear what’s going on . I have the pro version. It still didn’t help the sound were to scrambled to understand . This is a very important part of why a person would download an app to hear what’s going on very disappointed!

I like it but can’t pick up the police department

Since the update for the subscription version, my version doesn’t work at all. Constantly shows “loading”.

Bring back the Johnson county Kansas one back

3 years ago I got this scanner app, loved it then and wrote the review (JildT)…. I’m still listening to it today, recommend it to YOU if you want a good scanner app to see what’s going on around the world!

Was in the fire and ems services. Can keep up with my localities that i worked in.

I’ve used other scanner apps that had issues from day one. This app however, has been just wonderful. It’s good to know what’s happening in your area plus it’s just amusing to listen to.

Get on the know as it happens. It is lots of fun and exciting to listen too.

This thing works great.

Used to love this app. Now when I open it, it tries to force you into subscribing. The app worked fine for me for MANY years… since my iPhone 4S days, at least. Screw that noise.

Have had this app since 2017 and bought the “pro edition”. now all of sudden I have to pay a yearly subscription to use it? Dumb

This app use to be cool until they started price gouging you.

As a Great Lakes freighter watcher I like to listen to the marine radio traffic at the various ports. I’ve been able to do away with having to carry my marine scanner and just use my phone with my marine traffic app and use Police Scanner at same time. The upgrade was worth it!

I purchased the paid version of this years ago to get rid of the ads. Now suddenly its plastered with obnoxious ads, and I refuse to subscribe.

My stations / radio frequencies are no longer available. Very disappointing as we used them to safe in our community.

Now it’s yet another subscription based app of garbage.

Since purchasing the full version of this app, many of the stations have stopped broadcasting. This is partially due to inscription however I would not recommend this app to anyone and would not purchase it if I had it to do over again.
